Centennial plan

Centennial is planned to eventually have approximately 23,000 homes for 70,000 people: 12,800 single-family detached homes; 6,200 attached condominiums and townhomes; and 4,000 rental apartments. The homes are designed to be affordable to 74% of those working in the community. The houses will be grouped into small mixed-use villages all intimately scaled and within walking distance of a Village center. In order to attract the majority of the expected 30,000 jobs at Centennial, the master plan includes a business district with a potential of 12000000 square feet (1,114,836.5 m²) of space.

The community is planned to be built over 25 to 30 years, with approximately one-half of the 11,700-acre area designated as open space.
