 launched a more localized feed of Cartoon Network, dedicated exclusively for its Pakistani viewers. Initially, it was launched as a relay version of Cartoon Network India, but it has gone through some major revamp since its launch. The programming line-up had a striking resemblance to its Indian counterpart with the exception of localized advertisements.

Cartoon Network was the first international channel for kids to have its own Pakistani feed dedicated exclusively to its Pakistani viewers. Cartoon Network struggle to survive with its popular animated and live-action programming, competing against Nickelodeon, Wikkid Plus and Animax

2005 - 2008

In 2005 the bumpers were replaced with 3-D animations of a 'city' that all the Cartoon Network toons lived in. Show-specific bumpers were replaced with 3-D animations of a well-known scene from the particular show. The retro, checker board logo was replaced with the 'CN' city-style logo, a parody of the late-1950s Hanna-Barbera wordmark. 2008 - 2011

On September 1, 2008, the format of Cartoon Network's bumpers and commercials changed. They also renamed Cartoon Network Theater, the movie block to Cartoon Network Popcorn. The mimics a similar decision made by Cartoon Network Southeast Asia, with the major visual theme being the recurring 'dynamic line' in all the station IDs and bumps.

2011 - Present

Cartoon Network went through a logo revamp once again on 1st October 2011. In addition to this, Cartoon Network introduced a new slogan, "It's a FUN Thing!".

Programming Blocks on Cartoon Network Pakistan

Cartoon Network Pakistan is available in English & Hindi. The channel carries a number of popular animated shows mainly from the WB vault, the Cartoon Network Studios and some Japanese anime series. Classic Hanna-Barbera shows like The Flintstones and Swat Kats which are no longer available on Cartoon Network since the launch of the separate TV channel Boomerang. The channel itself was not available in Pakistan till 2011,but it is still quite rare and can be only seen on PTCL Smart TV

. Later on, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Blue Dragon, Dragon Ball Z and Swat Kats were also added to the block by replacing some of the old shows.

In late 2009, the block was extended to two and a half hours and the programming line-up was shuffled up once again. As a result, Digimon Data Squad replaced Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl replaced Swat Kats followed by Blue Dragon and Bakugan Battle Brawlers. On September 11, 2009, the Toonami block went through a major overhaul along with the premieres of some new anime.

The block was pulled off from airing on March 8, 2010 due to some unknown reasons but was renewed back to its original timings in 2011.
