Bubblicious acquired its name from a competition that Cadbury Adams ran asking people to suggest a name for its new bubble gum. The winning suggestion was put forward by brother and sister, Derek and Christine Thorogood from Chelmsford in Essex.

Bubblicious is available in original format and Bubblicious Bursts with a liquid-filled center.
