What is the process of bead blasting a swimming pool?

First the pool level is lowered so that all of the tiles are exposed for proper cleaning. Then the clean look of the pool tiles are gently restored through the gentle bead blast process. Upon completion, a special bonding or sealing agent is applied over the newly cleaned tile to give it a new gloss look while providing a level of protection which in turn makes weekly cleaning easier. Lastly, all fine glass beads are removed from the pool floor through external vacuuming equipment.

Swimming Pool bead blasting vs Tile Replacement

Many individuals who own swimming pools find beadblasting to be an economical alternative to tile replacement. The process of replacing pools tile that have been aesthetically ruined by calcium deposits can be very costly. Beadblasting generally can cost one fifth the price of tile replacement.
