. The firm invests in companies ranging from seed to later stage, with as low as a few hundred thousand dollars up to $100 million. The investment team is adept at sophisticated deal structures such as leveraged buyouts, PIPEs, spin outs, rollups and take-privates, as well as debt arrangements and secondary transactions.

The firm has raised approximately $4 billion of investor commitments since inception across nine funds. As of 2011, Battery is currently investing from its ninth fund, BV IX, a $750 million fund. Battery's previous fund was closed in 2007 with $750 million of investor commitments.
