. It was created on 5 October 1622 for Sir Dermot O'Mallun. Nothing further is known of this barony. It became extinct on his death some time after 1622. According to The Irish Military Community in Spanish Flanders, 1586–1621 (p. 86) by Henry Grainne, Lord Glean-O'Mallun died 1639 in Flanders, Spanish Netherlands, where he had been exiled "as a boy".
