'''Baiyaa''' (Bayaa’) ([[Arabic]],البياع) is a middle-class district in western [[Baghdad]], Iraq along the [[Baghdad Airport Road]]. It contains separate Sunni and Shiite enclaves within it. It has been calm during the Iraq War, but many stores have closed and both Shiite and Sunni families from Baiyaa have fled the neighborhood in May 2007 as violence increased. The Name of this city is given because the land was owned by one of the famous man named MR.Ali Al Baiyaa, this city is built in the period 1950 and 1960 and the engineering who drew the ways and roads gave the city special characteristic that he made the roads into longitudinal lines from one to twenty. This city contain a big and good commercial market which is located in the street No.20,also it contains all the facility like health center,Police station,Cort,mosques,church,clubs and youth center.
