The middle track is used for outbound trains, and the third track is generally a layup for freight trains. . All four tracks rejoin the mainline north of the station. There are layups for freight trains east and west of the station and a freight yard (known as Hill Yard) as part of the southern freight line about a quarter mile to the south.
