Awn ibn Ja'far was a Sahabi of the prophet Muhammad
. He was the third son of Ja'far ibn Abu Talib and Asma bint Umais . He married the youngest daughter of Ali ibn Abi Talib and Fatimah Zahra, Umm Khultum bint Ali.
