In the UK, it is currently the best selling weekly motoring magazine and has been for a number of years.

Auto Express is a weekly motoring magazine sold in the United Kingdom, with features including news, road tests, first drives, readers' letters and feedback, product tests, long-term tests, used cars, prices, motorsport and comment columns. the columnists include Mike Rutherford who also writes for The Times and Daily Telegraph. In the UK, it is currently the best selling weekly motoring magazine and has been for a number of years. It sells more copies on an annual basis than any other motoring magazine, although in total Autocar has sold more copies due to it being the longest running motor magazine in the UK. It has sister magazines in France, Auto Plus and Germany, Auto Bild which follow the same format. It is currently edited by David Johns.
It has been in circulation since September 1988, and its 1000th issue was published on 20 February 2008.
