Founded in 1964 by the people of Lappa with the colours red and blue. It had a remarkable appearance, especially in the 1970s in the regional (at the time) championships of the Achaia Football Clubs Association and tried several times to enter the second division

. Atromitos also appeared in the 1980s and afterwards had traced its direction in local championships in Achaia always as a leading team.

In 2005-06, the team won the prefectural championship, they challenged against APS Zavlani 2-0 and played at Andreas Kanistras Stadium. They entered the national championships (fourth division) in the 2006-07
