Sir Archibald Rice Cameron of Locheil GBE KCB CMG (28 August 1870 - 18 June 1944) was a British Army
General during the 1930s.
and the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Arichibald Cameron was commissioned into the Black Watch
in 1890 and saw service in the Second Boer War
between 1899 and 1902. He was Military Secretary to the Governor of the Cape of Good Hope
from 1904 to 1907.
He served in World War I
and was wounded in action
in 1917. In 1922 he became General Officer Commanding

In 1925 he was appointed Director of Staff Duties at the War Office
moving on to be General Officer Commanding
