Aranya is the annual technical festival of Thapar University, Patiala (India).

Aranya is the annual technical festival of Thapar University. The three day long technical extravaganza aims to bring about the best talents from all over Northern India to one platform. Started in 2006, the golden jubilee year of the university, Aranya has gained more and more popularity as time has passed by. The festival is generally held in the months of September–October each year. It draws the attention of many colleges as well as school students from all over India.

Aranya 2011

Aranya 2011 with a plethora of events ranging from technical events, book fair, edufair, adventure sports, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, literary events and managements events, it is a one stop for students to showcase their potential and at the same time enhance their capabilities. The comprehensive events tend to invigorate students' intelligence and stimulate their imagination like never before. The highlights of this fest are going to be its most revered evenings.

Primal Objective

Each day will be dedicated to a special theme namely,Child Rights, The Legacy of the Indian Army, Anti Smoking and Environment Conversation, Aranya will strive to ignite a new torch in every mind through specially designed theme initiatives that include conferences, guest lecture, youth drives and outreach programs.
