defeated Galway by a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-8. During the period in which O'Toole played for Dublin, he won eight Leinster Senior Football Championship
medals.
O'Toole also won two National football league
medals with Dublin in 1976 and again in 1978.
He is now manager of the Templeogue-Synge Street Senior Football Team which includes Dublin Fullback Denis Bastic and Dublin player Eoin O'Gara. In 2008, he guided 'Synger' to the Intermediate Football Championship with a historic victory over Kilmacud Crokes in the final in Parnell Park.
