It is an increase of almost 3,000 votes from the European elections, though most of the anti-capitalist lists tend to score much less in general than the European elections, where the vote is more "loose". ANTARSYA's campaign was centered on a programme to answer to the economic crisis based on workers' rights. Key demands were banning of lay-offs, a minimum salary of 1,400 euros, a reduction of weekly working time to 35 hours without reduction of wages, nationalisation without compensation under workers control of the banking system, of businesses shuting down and of privatised public services, but also the disarmament of police, full political and social rights for immigrants and an ecosocialist answer to ecological crisis
