Specific characteristics

The AUB is the only fully German speaking University outside the German-speaking countries. Its degree programmes are accredited in Germany (ACQUIN) as well as in Hungary (MAB). The excellent 1:7 relation of professors to students allows targeted and efficient studies in small groups. Students from more than 20 nations provide for an intercultural exchange. The students have the possibility to cover the tuition fees through different official scholarships.

In addition to encouraging the use of German as an academic language, the AUB aims to support and consolidate the cooperation of the states around the Danube
