The American Pet Products Association (APPA) was founded in 1958 and was incorporated as a not for profit corporation in Greenwich (Connecticut). APPMA is a not-for-profit trade association made up of over 1000 pet product manufacturers, their representatives, importers and livestock suppliers. Its membership consists of a diverse group representing both large corporations and growing business enterprises worldwide.
