Alentejo Central is a NUTS3 subregion of the Alentejo, in Portugal. Alentejo Central is comprised entirely of the District of Évora, plus integrates a municipality of the District of Portalegre, Sousel.
The chief city is Évora. Other cities are Estremoz, Montemor-o-Novo, Vendas Novas and Reguengos de Monsaraz.
As of 2001, the subregion had a population of 173,401 inhabitants and a total area of 7,227 km².
