It will cross the [[Eastern Carpathians]] and will have a 307 km length with a total estimated cost of 6.14 billion Euro. The motorway will be an alternative to the [[Pan-European corridors]] no. 4 and 9 and will connect the [[European Union]] with the [[Republic of Moldova]].
