The HEBA A2 or commonly called, the Greek A2 League, is the second division of the highest professional basketball
competition among pro clubs in Greece
. It is operated by the Hellenic Basketball Clubs Association (HEBA). The league has 16 teams. The first division is the HEBA A1, which consists of 14 teams.

History
In the 1986-87 season, the current format for Greek professional basketball, consisting of the A1 National Category and the A2 National Category was formed. The Greek national basketball league, in its current form, has been organized since the 1992-93 season by HEBAHEBA
