, Basilicata. The current club was founded in 2004 as A.S.C. Potenza, after the merger of the old A.S.C. Potenza (founded in 1983) and F.C. Potenza (founded in 1919 and previously known as Potenza S.C.), and changed its name to Potenza S.C. in 2006. It inherits the history of the previous Potenza S.C.. Potenza currently plays in Lega Pro Prima Divisione. The team's colors are red and blue.
