The 8ta network provides voice and data products and services over a unified 2G / 3G network.

Recently, 8ta launched a promotional data package called Internet Promo 5 which is currently the cheapest wireless broadband offering in South Africa and is also cheaper than any fixed line broadband offering available in South Africa. The price of the promotion is R199 for 10 GB of data and the network supports theoretical speeds of up to a maximum of 21.1 Mbps currently.
