History The 3rd (Lahore) Division was an infantry division of the British Indian Army. It was formed by General Kitchener while he was Commander-in-chief of India between 1902 & 1909. The division was sent to France at the outbreak of the Great War, landing at Marseilles on 26 September 1914 as part of the Indian Corp.
