The 2008 Henderson Formula Palmer Audi
Formula Palmer Audi
Formula Palmer Audi, officially abbreviated to FPA, and sometimes informally abbreviated to Palmer Audi, was a one-make class of open wheel Formula racing founded in 1998 by former Formula One driver, Jonathan Palmer. It was based in the United Kingdom , and was organised and operated by MotorSport...

Championship was incredibly competitive, with seven winners through the season and a three-way championship battle going into the final round.

Jason Moore eventually emerged from Croft as champion, but he was under intense pressure through much of the season from Tom Bradshaw and Jolyon Palmer. Moore made the best start to the season, winning three of the opening five races, with Richard Plant picking up a win in Round Two and Tom Bradshaw winning at Brands Hatch in Round Five.

Moore continued his winning ways in a triple-header at Spa-Francorchamps, although Jolyon Palmer scored an excellent victory in Round Six. Jack Clarke also visited the top of the podium in Round 10 at Oulton Park.

The second half of the season, however, belonged to Tom Bradshaw as he picked up four race wins, including a historic treble at Snetterton, to ensure the title went down to the wire. Elsewhere Richard Keen made a superb albeit brief appearance in the championship, gaining two victories and one pole in three races.

In 2008, the Henderson Formula Palmer Audi Championship once again enjoyed strong grids and a strong race calendar, with 33 drivers in total entering the 8-race, 20-round format. This year the championship also enjoyed a race abroad, at Spa-Francorchamps. The championship continued to support large international events at Brands Hatch
