The International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch (IVC) is a biannual singing
competition held in the Dutch city of 's-Hertogenbosch. Next to the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition
and the Charles Hennen Concours, it is the only other international classical music competition in the Netherlands

. The 48th International Vocal Competition 's-Hertogenbosch is scheduled to be held from 17–26 September 2010 with preliminary rounds being held the week prior.
The IVC is open to singers of all nationalities who have had conservatory training or have reached an equivalent level. However, there is an age cap of 31 for women and 34 for men. The competition has three categories: "Opera
", "Oratorio
and Song", and "All-round". Competitors may only compete in one of the three categories. In the most recent competition, held in 2008, a total of 175 candidates from more than 40 countries participated. The IVC is currently directed by Annett Andriesen, herself a past winner of the 1975 competition.
Preliminary rounds are planned from 13–15 September 2010.
Jury International Preliminary Rounds
Evelyn Lear (soprano), Marion van den Akker (mezzo-soprano), Arnold Alons (casting director in Toulouse and Chile) and Martin Wright (artistic director Chorus of De Nederlandse Opera). Chairperson is Annett Andriesen (singer, teacher and director of the IVC). Candidates will be selected to go forward to the First Round. They will be judged on voice, technique, musicality, presentation, intonation and potential.
International Jury
Dunja Vejzović (soprano), Edith Wiens (soprano), Sergei Leiferkus (baritone), Hein Meens (tenor), Ivan van Kalmthout (artistic administration Gran Teatre Liceu, Barcelona), Hein Mulders (artistic administration De Nederlandse Opera, Amsterdam) and Lenore Rosenberg (Metropolitan Opera, New York). The chairman of the jury is Hans Hierck (musicologist and former orchestra director). Candidates will be judged on musicality, understanding of style, choice of repertoire, quality of voice, presentation, intonation and potential.
