The Messier Object M69 is a Globular Cluster which was discovered by Charles Messier in 1780. It has an angular size of 7.1 arc minutes.

Location:
M69 is located within the borders of the constellation Sagittarius at RA 18 34.4 and Declination -32 21. It is 28,000 light years from the planet Earth which makes it the 57th furthest Messier Object from Earth.

Brightness:
Compared to the other objects from the Messier catalog, M69 is a relatively bright deep sky object with a visual magnitude of 7.6.
