The Messier Object M65 is a Galaxy which was discovered by Charles Messier in 1780. It has an angular size of 8 x 1.5 arc minutes.

M65 is located within the borders of the constellation Leo at RA 11 18.9 and Declination 13 05. It is 35,000 light years from the planet Earth making it the 83rd furthest Messier Object from Earth.
