Description

Overview:
The Messier Object M52 is a Open Cluster which was discovered by Charles Messier in 1774. It has an angular size of 13 arc minutes.

Location:
M52 is located inside the constellation Cassiopeia at Right Ascension 23 24.2 and Declination 61 35. It is 5,000 light years from Earth making it the 31st furthest Messier Object from Earth.

Brightness:
Compared to the other objects from the Messier catalog, M52 is a relatively bright deep space object with a brightness rating of 7.3.
