Messier Object M2 is a Globular Cluster which was discovered by Jean-Dominique Maraldi in 1746. It has an angular size of 12.9 arc minutes.

Location:
M2 is located inside the constellation Aquarius at Right Ascension 21 33.5 and Declination -00 49. It is 37,500 light years from the planet Earth making it the 66th furthest Messier Object from Earth.

In relation to the other Messier Objects, M2 is a bright deep space object with a brightness rating of 6.5.
