what is a good size tank for glofish. i have a 1.5 gallon tank that i just bought and i was wondering how many glofish i can add to it? i also have another question. do i need a water heater for the fish, its a glofish aquarium kit that i got from walmart.

I just bought a 1 gallon tank at walmart today, and I bought 2 Glofish for it. You can probably have up to 6-8 Glofish in your sized tank, and still let them be comfortable. I'm gonna get 5 for mine, I have a Starfire red and an electric green right now, sunburst orange is next.
Glofish can live in waters from 68-82 degrees farenheit, but prefer temps between 74-80.
You probably won't need a heater based on the temperature of the enviroment. But if you live up north in the U.S., you'd might need one, just because of the weather conditions outside.
Also make sure your fish arent near an air conditioner, or air vent. The drastic shange in temperature can prove fatal to your fish.
Does your tank happen to glow in multiple colors, around 6 colors? I saw that tank today when I bought mine. I've been wanting Glofish for a while and finnaly have a few now.
