am curious whether the idea of leaving-the-world-to-the-'savages' (i.e. native americans and such) would be a viable take on saving the planet...or would it be a concern about them already being Polluted by the Creature Comforts so very many people take for granted? i LIKE to think of myself as forward thinking (i have no childern, drive less than 20 miles a week) yet, when the electricity goes off i'll catch myself preparing to do something else that, you guessed it, takes electricity. this always catches me by surprise, and puts me in my place. humility is a state of mind i strive to attain, but what little i have is so hard-won i wonder if i should "be careful what i want". the fact is, i never met an animal i didn't like... you can probably fill in the rest for yourself.

I belive that tecnology has hit native americans and the such harder than the "civilised" races because they had it introduced all of the sudden look at resevations no longer useful for any thing other than gambeling.
