Question on vacuum bagging techniques for a plans built Dragonfly - has any one ever used the disposable white absorbant pads used to soak up oil in motor vehicle workshops as bleeder material to absorb excess epoxy when vacuum bagging components?

In Australia these pads are available as squares about 18 inches each side - the material is about 3/16 of an inch thick, and very absorbant. It is also available in rolls about 3 foot 6 inches long.
