Eretz Israel? Or the Land Free from Jews?

I'm living in Israel as a new repatriant from Russia, and I would like to discuss some problem which I see here. I discussed this with my Israel friends, then on russian forums, then I've written a short paper and translated it into English and Hebrew. I'm interested very much in your opinions:

I love this land and think that we can resolve this problem, not very great, but important. We already started with a very simple step: we are walking around Karmiel and we invite all to walk together. What is possible to do also?

Unfortunately you and others have been unreasonable to the Palestinian people and you seem surprised that they want to retaliate.
If only you could all get rid of religion and live together without the predjudices of religion and all live together in peace

I cannot understand why you need religion to be defended.
Surely you must have more confidence in your own sense of morality and compassion to be able to relate to all people.
I suppose you think that"god" is on your side.
This is excuse that many religious people use to exert their will over others.
Think about this and dont be fightened to let your concious prevail.
Religion has been resposible for so many wars and prejudice throughout the ages.
I hope this makes sense

Israel needs the religion not for defence. Moreover, I don't sure at all that Israel needs any defence, when the Lord has promised the defence for the Jewish nation.

But without religion Israel cannot exist. Israel exists only as a result of the contract between Israel and the Lord. Without this, there is no sense not only in returning hebrews to this land, but also in existing hebrews as hebrews - without religion, the modern Israel people should be Americans, Russians, Mexicans, Germans, etc. And, of course, without religion they should live in many good countries, from USA to Australia, and should live very well - why to live in poor and dangerous Israel land?

But Israelis, if they want to stay Israelis, must live at the land which God presented to them, by rules, which God requires. Then, and only then Israel will be really successful as the center of the World and the core of all humanity. I think so.

Until the Palestinians stop their obsession with the destruction of Israel, the situation can only get worse.

Do you truly believe that?

Just wondering...where you get these fictional ideas from.

"If only you could all get rid of religion and live together without the predjudices of religion and all live together in peace."

Yeah. And Comrade Stalin the Atheist was a real saint...just like Mao.

Not all religions hold prejudices against others. In fact Islam and Christianity are the oddballs in that respect. ALL THE REST OF US BELIEVE AND LET BELIEVE.

Actually, no, it doesn't.

And Comrade Stalin the Atheist was plenty brutal, as was Mao.

WE APPEAL — in the very midst of the onslaught launched against us now for months — to the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve peace and participate in the upbuilding of the State on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its provisional and permanent institutions.

WE EXTEND our hand to all neighbouring states and their peoples in an offer of peace and good neighbourliness, and appeal to them to establish bonds of cooperation and mutual help with the sovereign Jewish people settled in its own land. The State of Israel is prepared to do its share in a common effort for the advancement of the entire Middle East. - The Declaration Of The Establishment Of The State Of Israel May 14, 1948).

CHARTER OF HAMAS, the ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE:

Today it is Palestine, tomorrow it will be one country or another. The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.

For a long time, the enemies have been planning, skillfully and with precision, for the achievement of what they have attained. They took into consideration the causes affecting the current of events. They strived to amass great and substantive material wealth which they devoted to the realisation of their dream. With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others. With their money they stirred revolutions in various parts of the world with the purpose of achieving their interests and reaping the fruit therein. They were behind the French Revolution, the Communist revolution and most of the revolutions we heard and hear about, here and there. With their money they formed secret societies, such as Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, the Lions and others in different parts of the world for the purpose of sabotaging societies and achieving Zionist interests. With their money they were able to control imperialistic countries and instigate them to colonize many countries in order to enable them to exploit their resources and spread corruption there.

You may speak as much as you want about regional and world wars. They were behind World War I, when they were able to destroy the Islamic Caliphate, making financial gains and controlling resources. They obtained the Balfour Declaration, formed the League of Nations through which they could rule the world. They were behind World War II, through which they made huge financial gains by trading in armaments, and paved the way for the establishment of their state. It was they who instigated the replacement of the League of Nations with the United Nations and the Security Council to enable them to rule the world through them. There is no war going on anywhere, without having their finger in it.

THE PROTOCOLS OF THE ELDERS OF ZION?

Dude, if you can't see the truth GUSHING OUT in those two documents, you're either an Imbecile, or an Anti-Semite.

DUMB OR SCUM.

I do not see any logic in that statement at all. The plain fact which History has been screaming at us for the past 5,000 years is that religion has been the cause of more strife, antagonism, prejudice, death and wars than all the other causes combined.

Mankind evolved beyond the need for religion thousands of years ago. It suited our more primitive ancestors because it gave them the answers to things that they didn't understand. But modern man has no need for it in this day and age. In fact between politics and religion the human race has pretty much squandered nearly all of its potential.

A world without religion...ah one can dream.
