I am trying to find out some information for my mother. She was born in Beiber Ca.Her Birth Certificate says she lived in Lookout Ca.She was adopted at age 2. We know that her father was named Lawrence Brainard. He went by the name Sonny. Apparently they lived on a horse ranch somewhere in this area. We have been told that it was an inheritance he had recieved from his mother (? Bouvier). He was said to have been an alchoholic and lost the ranch in foreclosure.Now to my question, I would like to try and find out if the ranch still exists, and any information on it. I would love for my mother to be able to visit the area and even the ranch where she lived if possible. The rumor that we heard (who knows the validity of it), was that the man who bought the ranch discovered Nickel on the property. I would like any information that anyone may have. My mother is now 61. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. God Bless!
