Yenakiieve/Enakievo is described as being on the Krynka river. In fact the riverlet Bulavina flows through the city and joins the Krynka some 5 or so kilometres outside the city boundary. This riverlet used to run beside the brick factory in the village (now suburb of Enakievo) Gorporovka, and its waters were used to flood part of that area in 1972. The wooden barrack-style housing and some cottages were demolished and the people re-housed elsewhere. DOES ANYONE KNOW the name of the organisation which ran the brickworks (kirpichni zavod)?
