I had athe pleasure of visiting my ancestral home; Wycollar Hall two years ago. It was hard to see it in such a ruin, but crossing the bridge and seeing the house was a dream come true for me, coming from America. Getting the "Grand Tour" from the care-takers who turned out to be cousins was an even greater thrill. Thank you Maurene and Roger Cunliffe for the hospitality and for making me feel at home.
