Wood engineering. Regular prismatic members of wood trusses in compression. Is it sound engineering to compute the buckling lengths of a member experiencing a classical moment curve by dividing the overall length into columns using the points of inflection in the moment curve? With this approach, there are three columns that can then buckle independently.
