Why shouldn't roborovski's eat birdseed? I've been giving it to my roborovski (Mr. Nibbles)-- in addition to regular hamster food -- for years and he not only loves it but he's very healthy and active.

I got a hamster ball with small hamster sample treats in it and its coated in honey and my hamster is healthy and loves it.The ingrediants had bird seed in it.I don't know why anyone would tell you that.
