Why is it that the US govenrnment is not doing more to regulate or BAN completely OWB's ( Outddor wood boilers) in residential neighborhoods? You would think by the mere fact of the increase in childhood asthma that this would be a signal that something needs to be done and quickly. Local towns have poor regulations or State guides to meet that offer NO protections to neighborhoods from these smoke emitting furnaces. Even with the Phase II models they still fill the air with particulate matter which goes deep into the lungs and causes damage. Something needs to be done to BAN these from residential areas. They are meant to be used on farms not in our back yards. Please- WE NEED YOUR HELP!
