I think the United States plays a critical role in helping maintain stability in the world. Occasionally, of U.S. policies are hypocritical. For example, The U.S. is the only nation to ever to use nuclear weapons, yet it demands that other countries stop their nuclear programs.

That's imbecilic. Clearly there's a big difference between the US using it in WWII to end a terrible war, and the situation now where the weapon can end up in the hands of any number of irresponsible nut cases.

OK, NOW I understand who you are - an islamofascist. One of those people who stone women to death for adultery. Who terrorize people because you don't like their religion. Who want to wipe isreal off the face of the earth. Who make your women walk around in blankets with eyeholes to see out of. Who run like chickens when confronted by western armies, but are very brave against women and children whom you blow up in market places. Who eat with their hands, and live like europeans did 1500 years ago.

It seems your a little hot headed but I am not what you call me as a matter of fact I am a Muslim woman and no one makes me do anything I dont want to do if some Muslim women don't know how to excercise thier rights then don't put the fault on what the Quran says because what they do to woman is not for them to do and not thier right have you ever heard of a Mslim woman being raped i don't think so and if so very few and another thing you rather women to be sex slaves wear short clothing to look appealing to you and you do nothing for them in return other than disrespect them, in the quran women are to be treated like queens their husban should worship then, a women dont have to wash, cook clean or even work their husband or brother or farhter have to do those things for them, but if women don't know thier rights and act on them what do they expect men to Muslim or non Muslim all men are alike its those that have the fear of God try to be good.

Get a clue. Everyone all over the world knows muslim women are treated like trash. In saudi arabia, they can't drive, can't vote - can't do practically anything, have to ask their husband for permission to breath. Remember the Taliban executing a woman for adulery?

My last post was not clear. Let me correct that.
I am American, Libertarian, Law of the Land loving, freeborn capitalist.
America is the greatest country this world has ever seen, it's people are the freest, most creative, most generous people in the history of the world. I am proud to be an American.

We are currently allowing our rulers to use the American military might in an imperialistic fashion and I don't blame people in other countries for being angry about it. AMERICANS should be angry about it, very angry.

Look at Iraq. The media is gushing about elections and democracy and how we GAVE it to them...aren't we grand?
You can't GIVE someone freedom, they have to earn it, want it, fight for it.
Granted what we left them with is certainly better than Saddam Husein's dictatorship but I predict it falls apart very quickly because the Iraqi people aren't willing to fight for themselves.
When Iraq's 'freedom' falls apart, the US will go back in to restore order. We will 'give' them another dose of what's good for them.

this way of doing things isn't what we are. THAT is hypocrisy.
Bring our troops home..now...period
we should only ever use our might to defend ourselves and freedom, not to impose it.
we are not 'world cops'....THAT would be the UN.

As a Muslim woman...how do YOU feel about the Jihad? I understand it is a religious calling by your highest holy men. Are YOU in a holy war against me and my country?

personally I think the Jihad comes from crank fundamentalists in the Muslim faith. Christians have those too and they try to ignore them and keep them tucked away out of sight. Sometimes they get out and spread their scary crap all over everything and sensible Christians have to bundle them back into the padded room.

Muslims have a problem because they aren't bundling their crazy fundamentalists off to the nice safe loony bin. They are out here playing in the sand box with the nice kids, scaring us all to death. Muslims need to get a grip on this thing and shut it down before it gets worse.

In the mean time, it remains impossible to tell a Muslim nutbag from a Muslim normal person, thus my question. I mean no disrespect in asking it but I do need to know.

Just for one second think, Islam has brought women freedom to choose their husbands and to choose their religion if a man knows he cannot be fair to a woman he should not marry her she should not marry him but as all human do make mistakes thats why in America there is something called horn and you do have adultry but don't take it on as other countries may have but if you live in a country where the Law is if you commit adultry your punishment is death would you commit it or would you seek divorce and marry again just like in America there is a certain penalty for every crime. I have a car I drive but without protection I work because i want to no made me I did not ask anyone and i am happily married but not all marriages are perfect.

Shamiah,
I agree that the US should not dictate anything to anyone. If American was being run the way it was intended too, that would not happen. Unfortunately, we have lost control temporarily. Socialism is being pushed hard in our politics and Americans are just waking up to that.

There are many politicians in America who want to control the world but this is NOT what true Americans want. We want only freedom and for everyone to find freedom in their own way. We SHOULD be an example but we have become a tyrant. That is wrong.

I'm sorry that you have to live with the abuse of our military power. I really am. It will get better. Americans who love freedom and value our Constitution are, at long last, fighting to put things right.

The bad guys have once again woken the sleeping giant and by bad guys, I don't mean terrorists or Jihadists, I mean those that abuse America here at home. I am one of those who've been woken. There are many, many more.

Shamiah, darlin...if I lived in a country that gave out the death penalty for adultery I'd be dead. ;)

I get your point though. You live in a religious place and there are religious proscriptions against things I find normal. That's cool. If it works for you...do it.

It won't swing here because we are a different breed. Many religious groups would LOVE to convert America to a country run by religious values.

To understand why that would be bad, you'd have to understand more about what America truly stands for and what our Constitution,Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights mean.

You need to learn American history not propaganda. If you want reading lists I can get them for you. If you want links to web sites about the true meaning of America, I can find them for you.

you can't judge true America based on the way your country runs because it is almost the exact opposite thing.

Hey James, good to see another freedom fighter among the sheep,
thanks for the chuckle back in global warming. :)

what do you think about the idea that this 'war on terror' is also about spreading socialism in the area by nation building?

I am struck by this. The middle east has always been far more prone to fascism than socialism and fascism is far more difficult to control, far more fickle in nature because of the volatility inherent in religion.
By using the US military to go in and destroy what little infrastructure these countries have then nation build and institute supposedly 'free' governments, including entitlement programs, how else would 'they' strip the wealth?,...

Hey back Dawn!!!

I must first mention that the "war on terror" is merely an axiom feed to the public via the puppet media and really does not exist in that context...this is;however, A war on sovereign nations to gain control completely of everything....I mean everything....socialism, yes to some degree but from my studies on the issue in the middle east the ultimate goal here is to subjugate every breathing soul in the area as slaves or destroy them out right.

Over four thousand American soldiers dead and over one hundred thousand wounded....

....nearly one million Iraqis dead and the wounded/maimed is A number that is far more repulsive....

The Bush administration did not "invade" Iraq to free the people and nation build, this invasion was solely implemented to completely destroy A sovereign nation and rob its people of their lives and their wealth....follow the money....

James,

okay, I see what you're getting at but I reiterate the point and point to the GLOBAL agenda that has become horrifically apparent in my research. I ask you to think wider..think global.

Bush's goals may have been utter destruction of a Sovereign nation(s) (he wasn't much smarter than that) but the wider agenda has a lot more to do with leftist-ism (awkward yes, but descriptive)

Say what you want about the countries of the Middle East but I think we can agree, they are/were uncontrollable in their former state. the biggest attractant to this region is oil(unless you really love goats, that is).

In order to control the oil, 'they'( meaning globalist leftists) must control the countries with the oil. 'They' already control most of the remaining oil resource through direct communist governments (China, Venezuela etc), through leftist environmental regulation and law/land grabs (Alaska, western US, off shore drilling etc) and global pricing control (just wait until summer hits again)THEY are using the might of the US military to bring the mid-east under their control.
Citizens of the mid-east are already accustomed to control due to their religious practices/leaders but, by nation building and the institution of entitlements through "democratic reforms" THEY will obtain complete control of both minds and bodies and lives.

I predict that the fragile, imposed democracy in Iraq will fail and the UN, backed by the US, will go in to "restore order" and firm up this economic control by the institution of "aid".
Through entitlements, THEY will strip the region of wealth(just like they are doing here), solidify their power structure and completely control the remaining oil supply existing there.

The time for THEM to accomplish all this is growing shorter as the oil begins to run out.The struggle for complete control is about to get far more intense. Creation of alternative energy producing tech capable of meeting modern needs is being suppressed during this phase by shoving ridiculous things like wind energy under the world's eager nose. When this alternative DOES emerge, THEY will control it completely through environmental regs and laws. (I predict nuclear power, already highly controlled with a great return rate for energy invested versus energy output, but that is another forum)

jeez, when i get on a rant..huh?

James,

I think we are saying the same thing here. I agree with you. You should also know that during the short time I started posting here(this forum) until now, I have undergone a radical change in what and how I think. I should go back and delete lots of my old posts but I have better things to do. If something I said in the past seems contradictory to what I'm saying now, I'm sorry for the seemingly shizoid nature I'm exhibiting.

please forgive the woman in the past, she knew not what to think...

The New Dawn (hehehehe) is trying to make sense of the world through her new eyes and brain wave patterns. I'm looking at the Middle East and the war (not really a war of course, it was never declared except in the media) and asking...what is the agenda here? I think knowing the agenda is vital. I think seeing the enemy's plans is the first step toward defeating them.

Towards that end I was given a link today that connected me to an Israel news paper article and thus I have changed, again, my ideas. I will include the link in this post for you.
I now see a slightly different agenda that, when tied with The Liar's muslim roots, makes sense.
The connection of this new idea to prophecy, which I have also been exploring at lightning fast speed, in both mayan calendar(12-12-12) and the bible is scary. When I combine THAT with current astronomical events and the potential of astronomical events scientifically coming to a 'head' in '12, I am profoundly shaken.(this is why I'm so interested in galactic core explosions, it sounds wonky but it's very real)
the war on terror has a purpose. I'm not certain I understand the purpose but I see many potentials.
One of the problems I'm running into is the SIZE of this thing. It's like discovering a tumor the size of Texas and going...oh, so THAT'S what that is.
I don't know where to start or stop! EEGADS, I'm like a Toyota on congressional resolutions!

James,

yes, peace!

I think it IS about money and power and I agree with your summation of the roman catholic church...you want to see the devil made real, look to rome, IMHO

this is all speeding up because the oil is running out. the powerful money holders are running out of time as this powerful resource runs out as well. They have further stated that the best way to 'save the world" is to reduce population. Reduction is about to commence now that they control the last free medical care system in the world.

popular media is full of stories about pandemics...we are being warned but no one is really listening, they are all just afraid

BBC has an excellent show called Survivors about a pandemic. It is weak, (par for the course in any media) but reflects some very dark truth as well.

flu could eliminate a lot of the world's population very quickly and plunge the survivors back into a lifestyle more relevant in the 19th century than too a modern age

flu vaccine alters the ability of the body to combat flu...and is issued by socialized justice...
stay away from vaccinations for flu(s)

don't THAT sound crazy?

reduction of population will have the effect of slowing the world consumption of oil, so will increasing the numbers of people who can't afford to buy oil. We are all destined to live like poor Africans. The environmentalists will be shoving expensive solar and wind power down our throats while the truly rich bask in the glory of their planes and cars and centrally air conditioned/heated homes.

think I'm on the correct path?

Listen, if the indians in South Amercia were still sacrificing humans, I would be against that too. You can take my remarks as racist if you want to, but I can't deal with a religion that says a father can murder his daughter just because she wants to go to work. Or an entire family beats she shit out of a young girl because she says something like "Elvis Presley is cute". Or, they execute a woman in broad daylight because of some infidelity.

This is the 21st century and I am glad my country is not going to let that continue.

We are not doing this for resources or power. If that were true, we would not be friendly with Israel or enemy of Chavez in Venezuela. Your arguement doesn't hold.

If you think this war of lies has anything to do with religion, you need to think again. It's simple math. Divide and reduce. What's more divisive than religion? The whole thing is a load of horse crap.

This is all about who controls central Eurasia, it always has been. Historically this area is the crux of power. Every civilization worth its collective salt since Egypt has tried to control this region and the world class civs DID or fell trying. Rome went as far as splitting the country and its capitol to do it.

I asked the question in another thread but no one answered so I'll tell you here...there's oil in Turkmenistan, may be a lot of oil and way higher grade stuff that shale oil and tar sands crap they tell you about on the nightly snews services. It's the last uncontrolled deposit in the world and the Muslims just happen to be sitting right on top of it and in the area we need to pipe it through to get it.

Poor fools...they think this is about imperialism from US but it's just about controlling that pipeline that is running through Pakistan and Afghanistan from the oil fields in the mountains.

the corruption in the Bush admin was all about economic control of this area. Now that the us economy is pretty much kaput, all that's left is the shooting. The real insidious factor is the communist bent of current US admin.....we're WAY left here and looking to China for guidance instead of American Law. China wants that oil pretty bad. Wonder what they'll do to get it? Think they'd destroy the only true challenger to their world dominance? Would you?
Everyone knows you don't get into an out and out fight with America. We're street brawlers with guns, way too tough to take on toe to toe...our weak spot is the dichotomy between capitalism and religion...in other words moral...social...policy
and that's where they are hitting us

Karzai knows the deal. He's bargaining that Obama will let him keep the opium fields in trade for letting the pipeline alone. During the Bush and Clinton years, WE took the heroin out of Afghanistan (and the coke out of South America, but that's another post) and sold it ourselves, kept the growers poor, kept the American public dumb and drugged. Good book called Crossing the Rubicon about that...
the new drug is free money from the gov't...but, that will run out sooner than they think

Some of the accusations you keep making about Communists in the present US government, etc. can't be backed up by any proof you have given. You are just making wild accusations without any backup. Then you come across bar-room style name calling that does nothing to bring me to your side.

Why do you think this gang of Muslims crashed those airplanes into the World Trade Center? Their motives are deep rooted in their religion.

As far as the US trying to control the oil in this area, the only thing the US wants is for them to sell it to us. Nothing more. The Saudis own all of their oil wells because the bought them from Exxon, Mobil and the rest. Same with UAE. They control it along with the price we have to pay for it. Even though we defeated Iraq in the war, we are not pumping oil from their oil fields, they are.

But a country like Iran thinks the world is coming to and end. So, if they had the atomic bomb they could preumably bring it to an end sooner. They don't need the bomb because no one is threatening them with anything.

But the entire oil argument might go up in smoke if T. Boone Pickens gets his way with Congress. We will all be driving natural gas cars. We have enough natural gas in the US to last for the next 100 years. Its becasue of corruption that we have not done it sooner. Secondly, the country that has the most oil after Saudi Arabia is Canada and its hardly been tapped yet. So the energy picture is really not as bleak as it may seem. Pretty soon, one way or another, the Muslim world will have to look for some other form of income or pray harder to Allah (which works about as good as a gasoline motor under water).

But I am not anti-Muslim as much as I am anti-religion.

see ya.

Nope...you are wrong

If our president ISN'T a communist or socialist or Marxist...prove it. I have gone in search of those facts, trying to prove the right wing stuff is crap and I couldn't do it. His parents were Marxists, his grandparents who raised him were communists, his mentor was a communist poet in Hawaii....

then we get to Reverend Wright, Barak's long time religious leader, who is a socialist in a deeply socially just church.

Barak has surrounded himself with socialists..Van Jones was a declared communist...the union leader guy is always talking about redistributing wealth, a socialist belief system,

when I look at our president, all I see is socialists and communists all surrounding a guy who apparently is unwilling to commit to a side or ideology. What bothers me MOST about Barak is that he won't BE something...he won't just say, okay, this is what I think is correct and this is where I'm leading this country

He tries to be everything to everybody, to make us all happy and comfortable....I've met other people like that, usually they are trying to sell me a piece of crap car or a house with a leaky roof...

so, if you have proof and aren't just telling us that Barak is a good man because you want him to be or are to unwilling (or embarrassed) to examine what you've recently bought, SHOW ME. send links, I'll go look, I swear I will.

you know the real kicker Andrew...I voted for the guy...THEN I went looking because what I thought sounded great on the campaign trail wasn't what he was doing.
What I found horrified me and woke me up and here I am. If I can wake up, you can wake up but you need to do it fast because the other half of this storm is coming...

Hi and salaam to any Muslim who may view this. I have been out of this topic for quit a while and just recently I viewed it I just want to make a couple of statements first of all none of the Islamic countries ask for Bush's help they wanted what most counties tried to attain for the longest while their 'OIL' at a time when Muslims are being stigmatized as terrorist and are being said that they live in the past what could a man like Bush do in order to get what he wants simple commit a crime so hideous to his own country and blame on a Muslim but not just any Muslim someone who's already into crimes but what the f..k does he have against America? sorry to use fowl language but some people on this blog seem so clueless i am so sick and tired of people's stupidity anyway my next point is someone said something about he wanted to free the Muslims and give them freedom to vote and so on and so on, when did they ask the US for this Muslims are already free, clean and honest people not saying that their are some with issues but when a Muslim man or woman sees his/her family killed for no good reason what the hell u expect them to do sit back and relax hello! they have nothing to live for anymore so what strap on a bomb and kill out a few unbelievers its far worse what the American government has done to thier people they lied they invaded their livlihood they killed out thier families and they brought distruction to their country which had a few problem which in fact could be solve in due time how much more can a human being take. To close off my discussion all Muslims know as it is in the Qur'an i might be wrong because i cant remember it very clearly states if a man hits u u have a right to hit him back with the same force and u have right to protect ur family ur deen ur religion.

The only evidence I know of about Barak's father being a Marxist is a Marxist sign being held in back of him by somebody in an old photo. That does not make Barak a Marxist. He never saw his father after he was 10 years old.

Barak "grew up" at Harvard Law School which ia blue blood country. Then he went to work for a prstigious law firm (I think it was in Texas).

But he knew poverty very well from is youth and he always had visions of trying to help poor people. His speeches and actions do not support any theory about him being Communist or Marxist. Even if his father was, it should not automatically brand him as one. Communism is on the way out anyway. The only place I know of where it still practiced is Cuba. Even there, they are now allowing privately owned stores.

On the positive side, we can see that the economy is improving due to his "Stimulus" polocies, the war in Iraq has been brought to an end, and now we have an alternative health plan for people who have no health insurance, and now he is working on getting more jobs for people. You did well by voting for him. If you compare him to Cheney-Bush "better than thou" type of diplomacy, you can see what a "god(?)send" he acutally is.

Look at the positive, it will make you feel better.

regards,

Fool! You truly believe the crap you say! When all this "love" you are drunk on for Obama turns into a hang-over you will see how misled and misinformed you really are! The only job growth in this country is in the federal government...the largest employer in the nation! It makes me sick that people adore this man as some sort of deity! It is disgusting and vile that any one give this man the praise of a Savior...gross! All Obama's policies will fail...that will be the only thing that will make me feel better about this traitor! He will fail in the end!

You really are full of yourself, always insisting that I'm not happy or need to feel better

dude, I am about as far from feeling bad about anything as a person CAN be. I LOVE life! I Love what I do. I love my kids. I love my country. I love God. I even love my annoying neighbor with the saxophone and no ear for music, at least he's trying and sometimes what comes out of that thing sounds....funny.

Look, if you don't want to call it communism..okay...let's call it progressive thinking, let's call it social justice. What ever you want, I'll meet ya half way but there's no way I'll let you get away with saying Barak isn't into progressivism or social justice.

Barak grew up in Hawaii until his mother deserted him then he went to live in Washington State with his grandparents who belonged to the Little Red Church...a marxist group

yeah, he went to Harvard that bastion of leftist elite on the east coast. He also went to Columbia, you know, the school where all those non communists from China go? And there's NO RECORD he practiced law anywhere in this country at least not legally. He applied for a license to practice in Illinois but retracted the application before it could go through the approval process. that happened right before he ran for the senate.

don't try to pass off shoddy info on me, my friend. I told you, I went looking. I'm a damn novelist. Research is a major part of my job description.

I have news for ya, the economy is going to be fine this summer. the admin saved 2/3 of the stimulus package just for this. They knew that people were going to be pissed about the way the healthcare package was crammed down their throats. This money will now be injected into the economy so that it appears stabilized. They hope that, if everything looks like its going all right, people will forget being raped.

enjoy the summer. spend all your money. dance in the sunshine and sniff all the pretty flowers.Maybe you'll get lucky and find a bit of truth out there.

I really recommend the red jelly beans

I always get a laugh out of the "sovereign nation" crapola. The war in iraq was against the baathist DICTATORSHIP. No dictator regime has the right to exist, and democratic nations should feel free to remove them when it is necessary or convenient. As for the US "imposing" anything on nations - that's garbage too - there's no such thing as "imposing" democracy - democracy is in fact the only system where rule is not imposed on the people. Democracy puts their destiny in their own hands.

Your confused about the concept of Democracy. It would be better if we returned to a Republic as all the people are protected by the law so the 49% is not punished by the 51%. Fascism and socialism is the result of tyranny in side a collapsing democracy...the people are no longer "heard" by elected officials and these men and women govern with out the consent of the people!

When left-wing icon Naomi Wolf warned that America was heading towards fascism under George W. Bush, characterized by illegal surveillance, arbitrary detention of suspects, and paramilitary martial law, she was lauded, but when she continued to issue the same warning as a result of Obama’s failure to reverse any of those policies, many on the left abandoned support for her.
However, as Wolf’s recent interview with leftist website AlterNet makes plain, liberals may finally be starting to understand that both political parties in Washington are part of the problem, not the solution.

AlterNet writer Justine Sharrock seems to be struggling to come to terms with the fact that Naomi Wolf’s rhetoric now very much echoes that of Alex Jones and many aspects of the Tea Party movement, an uncomfortable quandary for leftist media outlets, many of whom have acted as obedient echo chambers for the corporate media in demonizing grassroots populists as extremists and even domestic terrorists.

“She speaks their language, referring to the Founding Fathers and American Revolution as models, admitting to a profound sense of fear, warning of tyranny, fascism, Nazism and martial law. When Glenn Beck warns of these things we laugh. When Wolf draws those same connections, we listen. How can both sides be speaking the same language, yet see things so differently?” asks Sharrock.
The reason, as Wolf outlines, is the fact that Obama has preserved, institutionalized, and even expanded the very same policies that led to the left comparing George W. Bush to Hitler, a comparison that now, when made with Obama, is taboo, racist and an example of “fringe beliefs” according to the establishment media.
“Bush legalized torture, but Obama is legalizing impunity. He promised to roll stuff back, but he is institutionalizing these things forever. It is terrifying and the left doesn’t seem to recognize it,” responds Wolf, adding that making comparisons between Obama and historical dictators should not be off limits when he is following similar tyrannical policies.
“Obama has done things like Hitler did,” states Wolf. “Let me be very careful here. The National Socialists rounded people up and held them without trial, signed legislation that gave torture impunity, and spied on their citizens, just as Obama has. It isn’t a question of what has been done that Hitler did. It’s what does every dictator do, on the left or the right, that is being done here and now. The real fight isn’t left or right but between forces of democracy across the spectrum and the forces of tyranny.”
As Wolf touches upon in the interview, the left is brilliant at going up against the tyranny of the state, but only when a Republican is in office. As soon as a Democrat gets in, liberals suddenly prostrate themselves in obedience and join the chorus in attacking any dissenters as radical-right wing extremists who should have their speech taken away, blissfully ignorant of the fact that those very same laws will then be used to silence their free speech when the oval office rotates back to a Republican once again.
Leftists are so prone to flip-flopping and becoming Statists when a Democrat gets in office because they associate their own ego and political power with politicians, a foolish misjudgment in light of the fact that politicians stopped representing anything other than their own crooked interests decades ago. As Wolf emphasizes, “Frankly, liberals are out of the habit of communicating with anyone outside their own in cohort. We have a cultural problem with self-righteousness and elitism…. We look down on people we don’t agree with. It doesn’t serve us well.”
“I was basically saying don’t sit around waiting for the two corrupted established parties to restore the Constitution or the Republic. The founding generation was birthed by the rabble of all walks of life that got fed up and did risky things because they were captivated by the breath of liberty. There is a looming oligarchy and it is up to the people to organize a grassroots movement and push back,” states Wolf, outlining why she shares many of the same principles embraced by the Tea Party, while warning that huge chunks of the movement have obviously been hijacked by Republican operatives.
Wolf, who admits that her “cultural heritage is FDR and Medicare and federal government solutions,” now expresses her support for the logic behind the states’ rights movement, a grassroots project mainly driven by libertarians and Ron Paul supporters.
“If you think through the analysis, strengthening state rights is a good corrective of the aggregation of an over-reaching federal power. Take California’s challenge of the Patriot Act or states like Vermont leading the way with addressing the corruption of the voting system. It’s a good example of the Tea Party thinking out of the box on how to address a problem,” states Wolf.
The interview ends with Wolf warning of the fact that concerns about martial law are now more prescient than ever.
“I think we have gone very far down that road. I met Muslim immigrants in Brooklyn who were swept up in 9-11 raids, held in abusive conditions, beaten, denied rights. That’s how things started in Germany. Guantanamo was modeled after what Stalin developed for the Gulag. Why are we engaged in psychological denial that it’s not a concentration camp? In terms of martial law, my god. Since the book came out they deployed a brigade in the U.S. and suspended the Posse Comitatus Act. There is no question that it’s something to take seriously. People have a histrionic view of what martial law will look like.”

Get back on the porch, puppy...

James,

you're right about returning to a federalist republic but I see a problem...we are having democracy forced on us by the media, ringleaders in the court of public opinion.
Personally I like what Beck is saying. Lately its been a history lesson and a call to non violent protest and that's a healthy thing. I am very disturbed by both the right and the left. I'm afraid of November...that we will swap one set of bad for another.

its all such a huge mess...

But, coming from an aspiring writer, such as yourself, the disturbing facts of the screwed up political hell of this modern age is being spread to the awakening masses by awesome women like you!!! I want the people to get past the fear and focus on the ways and means of pushing back the powerful wave of tyranny that is flooding our country! We can and must do this or what we cherish as freedoms will forever be lost!

I'm starting to think that the only way to do this is just to just let the whole system collapse then rebuild it from the ground up. Otherwise its like putting a tourniquet on a leg when the victim has had his throat slashed.
I watched OReilly last night, he was talking with that libertarian guy...Stoller(??) about the Goldman Saks thing. Bill said something about...we can't just let it fail, that would collapse the economy...
and it occurred to me...all right, that's the ticket. Let it fall down in pieces...we have the building plans (framework, Constitution etc) we know how to do this...let it all fail and we can build it again, maybe even better because we know the kinds of problems it will face in the future...nothing, not even America, is too big to fail, but unlike the rest of history, we didn't grow into freedom, we started with freedom and grew into ...this.

It's a scary idea but freedom is a scary thing, isn't it? On top of that, freedom can't and won't die if we let this version of America die because freedom is from God, not man. We keep the name(address) and the foundation, let the rest crumble, then recycle what remains. We can do it without violence. All we have to do is watch and wait. In the meantime we can keep trying to stop the bleeding as long as we know when to call it and mark the time of death.

it's a time for..outside the box...and this idea is definitely that...
WAY outside the box.

Well, i have gone through a lot of your previous posts to try to find what it is that you are for or against. My conclusion is that you are against anything that anyone else is for. There is no coherent thread in any of your rhetoric, and I will add that there is no coherent thread in any of the posts.

Just making wild accusations in a sarcastic manner does nothing to make it more truthful. If you want to say that Obama is a Communist, prove it with something. You can't meet me halfway because you don't have a valid position to start from. Maybe you can summarize for me (us) what it is you are exactly for without using vague terms.

For your information, I see the truth perfectly. And I see an administration setting this country on the right track after a near disaster from the previous one. I am proud of my country standing up for those who are trying to kill people in the name of Allah. My only regret is that the administration will not take it far enough to make a difference in their thinking. Its not about oil. we have plenty of it and gas as well. We only need Mid-East oil in the interim. Ten years from now they (the Arabs) can shove it.

So what is it we need, 240 million people with a different idea about everything? That will fix things won't it? The minority has to bend their minds into the majority. This is your elected President. Even when I hated G. Bush-Cheney, I would still recognize them as an authority over me even as his majority was always in question.

another time,
