Why do we feel that we have the right to set a price on Middle East oil. Do they have a right to set a price on wheat. We have many oil resources right here in the south, Alaska, Mid west. We have the ability to build on a large scale nuclear plants safely. Waste is our enemy. House oil instead of lower cost gas. Use oil products to make renewable products and for now until we fine a better way, use it for cars and trucks. I had a discussion on Goble warming and we may be partially partners in it's cause. If we solve one problem, it may solve two.

I would add that a new organisation be formed: OFEC. The Organisation of Food exporting Countries. Quid pro quo..

That's kind of funny. Doing that may open a Pandora's box. We export our wheat according to global demand. It also raises our cost in the US. We can organize all wheat growing nations to set a price, but then what ? .....
