Why are some men intimidated by a woman's success in their life and careers.

Men are intimidated by a woman's success because they feel the love and support will change the more successful a woman become. Not to mention less time they'll have to spend with them. I'm not afraid to say it, some men can become insecure the more a woman becomes successful. Men are intimidated by the independence woman show, some men need and want a female to need them (not me personally, I like females that are independent). That's how a lot of men were raised that way. Old habits die hard. Some men will never break them. I'm young so I don't have a lot of success as others may have.I speak from experince here. To me it seems like a man has to be as successful as a woman or more successful to have a shot at dating them, let alone winning their heart over. It's hard to express one self without sounding hypercritical or sexist, coming from a man's point of view. Sometimes we don't even konw.

Their own insecurities.

They are not secure enough therefore their ego can't take it

I think it dates back to the beginning of time. In the first place a woman introduced sin but a woman was shown mercy first (i,e mary magdelene was the first to be shown the mercy seat in Jesus tomb) that shows just how powerful a woman is but naturally as the physically stronger man they shall be intimidated by this and also this is all fueled by most of the religious factions...so if u r christian, do u think its suppression by the devil?!

Because they know they'll have to keep hearing about it.
