I think you will find that if a tiger and lion were to confront each other the lion would do a runner, though they do not see each other in the wild, and the myth of king of the jungle,is because they don't come into contact, tigers markings would make lion run, lion is the best beast in his domane, no mathch for a bengal tiger let alone a siberian who is much bigger, and stonger, he would be almost a third bigger than a lion

The Tiger is the bigger, stronger, more agile cat, but the Lion is the more aggressive, has the more fighting experience and has the mane which is said to protect it. Given the physical and behavioural attributes of both cats, it is indeed a difficult question as they are both built killing machines. As per your points above, it is debatable if the lion is more aggressive, but it generally does have more fighting experience. Male lions often must fight off other lions challenging for the pride, as well as other predatory animals on the African plains. Although lionesses do a large majority of the hunting, males are very good hunters too.

Tigers are solitary animals and are more of a stalker than the lion (ie, they creep up and pounce on prey). So compared to a lion with strong forepaws, the tiger has very strong hindlegs for pouncing.
Overall, I would peg their strength as being approximately equal, so I will give the edge to tigers on agility. They are both highly successful cats, but the overall stamina and movement of the tiger will come out on top.

Very unlikely that a lion will run. I seen to many videos where the lion stands his ground and never runs (i seen tigers run though). Trainers will tell you that a lion is composed and arrogant next to the tiger. On the other hand, a tiger is a nervous cat and seems to be on edge when confronted by the lion.

Im not saying you wrong but there is a 50/50 chance the lion or the tiger will win.But sometimes those shows can be probably cause they never know exactly what they animals are going to do.I say the tiger will win because it is a very stealthy animal and could sneak up on the tiger. Also it could pounce and probably end up in a small tree where the tiger couldn't reach it,then maybe jump on the tigers back. But the lion could also kill the tiger by its strength of its forearms. But there is always a 50/50 chance cause we will never know what the tiger and lion would do.
