Many multiracial people ask who am I? where do I belong? when the answer should be simple; we all belong to the human race. And if someone is religious should find peace in the tenet that everybody belongs to the Creator, to the heavenly Father/Mother, therefore everybody belongs to the Family of human beings.
To be an American means to surpass national and racial, sexual differences, and incorporate those into ones being as characteristics, but not defining ones, because the defining HUMAN characteristics are the same. We all have bodies which functions the same, we all think the same manner, feel the same way.
In 2011 we also should think of ourselves as citizens of the PLANET EARTH, who live in such and such a country, ..which are secondary importance.
