While on vacation in the South of France, my husband and I met with an old Englishman who told us that he was one of the judges at the Guildford Four trial and that he also was asked to participate in the Appeal Court in 1989 although he then already had retired. We didn't have the chance to talk with him again.
In the meantime I had seen the film "In the name of the father" and would have liked to discuss with Steven about it.
I never found out what his surname was. Nor coud I get the names of the Court members of the trial (except Judice Donaldson)or the appeal.
Does anybody have a clue?
I'm sure he is not alive anymore. But as I saw the film again these days to write an essay about it for my senior studies at Wuppertal University, I would very much like to know more about him.
