Which are the Sub Cast under the surname verma

The four subcastes of the Varna Caste are the brahmanas (brahmins), kshatriyas, vaishyas, and shudras.

Dear friend vermas are of various types,,in mp they are hindus,brahmins.but in punjab they are pure gold smith sikhs..i am also a goldsmith sikh of punjab having surname verma

first of all ...VERMA is NOT a caste,it is a title normally used by many castes including kayasthas...could be anybody from srivastavas,bhatnagars,mathurs,saxenas' etc

I do not know about any other but i am also a verma and i am a punjabi sikh goldsmith.

Hardeep there are many types of verma but to give corrctly i am also verma nd verma's are thakur someof them are jat and jat are equal to thakur's some of them are also ksatriya some verma's are kayasth so all verma's are off upeer cast and most of the punabis are jat so u know ur self that who are jat cause you ar also a jat so that's the correst answer verma's are of upper cast if some people use verma surname to hide there real identiy so it dosen't mean that evrey verma is obc so i hope u got the point ........
