The Liviticus Chapter 11, verse 17 is one among so many laws of God, during the time of Prophet Moises or during the Israel Era.

But now is Christian Era,...Some God's law given to Prophet Moises are no longer in effect,.. like the eating the foods prohibited by God.

I did not mentioned "blood",.. because blood is not classified by God as our food, even though it could be eaten.

Many kind of animals and fish were not allowed to be eaten by the chosen people of God (Israel).... and together with the other laws of God, nobody in Israel have obeyed the God's will perfectly and everyone is below the expectation of God, except the only one, Christ Jesus the only creation made holy by God.

That's why some laws of Moises are no longer in effect in our times, including the eating prohibition of pork; as what we could be read with

14. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

17. Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Eating of food prohibition is only a shadow of things to come,..... that ordinances, including food prohibition is already blotting out by Christ.

Colossians 2:14-17 KJV.

All food are alright to eat....

Romans 14:20

New Century Version (NCV)

20 Do not let the eating of food destroy the work of God. All foods are all right to eat, but it is wrong to eat food that causes someone else to sin.

Romans 14:20

The Message (MSG)

19-21So let's agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words; don't drag them down by finding fault. You're certainly not going to permit an argument over what is served or not served at supper to wreck God's work among you, are you? I said it before and I'll say it again: All food is good, but it can turn bad if you use it badly, if you use it to trip others up and send them sprawling. When you sit down to a meal, your primary concern should not be to feed your own face but to share the life of Jesus. So be sensitive and courteous to the others who are eating. Don't eat or say or do things that might interfere with the free exchange of love.

Where can we find in the bible that the pork is food??? never... because it is not a food to man. the shadow of Christ was the law contained in ordinances and that is the tradions of the old, like burnt offerings, abstaining meat and also their sabbath day... not the sabbath of God...
