Where could one find documentation on a Pilot Squadron Leader Mr. Lucius Foster who was one of the USA Pilots who came over to fly for RAF before the USA entered WWII. He is now well over his 80s and always talks about this but we'd like to substantiate some for him with the Internet. Maybe some Photos of him there as a Pilot or his name listed in some documentation. Thank you. I also have written to

Yes I know the Battle of Britain, I flew in it. I am famous. I flew more missions with wet pants then any body else. At the end of the battle. I was pulling my drinks up with my necktie. Oh was I nervous. But I lived through it. The RAF thought I was a little strange. I used to write up a report on all of the missions I flew. Pointed out the bad planning the good planning and gave lists of changes that should have been made in the planning. I was a student of warfare and had been so since about the age of 5. So as the battle ended they sent me to the RAF Academy at Cranwell in England they gave me 3 months to complete the 3 year program. Gave me all the teachers I needed and a typewriter and lots of paper. I did it but oh my god no days off no time off just work work work. So then back to a Fighter Squadron and they started promoting me almost every month. I went up from Sgt. Pilot to Flight Sgt. Pilot. Pilot Officer, Flying Officer Flight Lt. and finally to Squadron Leader like a Major in our Air Force. Now the things I wrote got read. They sent me to RAF Headquarters to write the mission planning of which I had been so critical Oh it was a ball and then. Bang. Transferred to the United States Army Air Corp. And because I was so young back down to Second Lt. so I got to start all over again. Really strange, because of my experience they had me leading a Fighter Wing in combat which is 3 squadrons. Very interesting. But frankly I love being a civilian. That is history and this is the present.
Cheers Lucius Foster
