Where are the freeze plugs located on a 1998 Trooper 3.5L?

Go to our local library, and look it up in a Chiltons Auto Manual,- that they are likely to still have on shelf! Or you can go to any larger "car pats supply" places (Like Auto-Zone for isntance)and buy a manual that specifically covers your year and model vehicle for close to $20, it is worth it, as it will tell you tons of stuff that is useful
and gives you pictures and basic repair informaton on just about everything except the automatic transmission!

Thankyou, I have since found out that it's located on the back side of the heads, as well as on the back of the engine block. The one I'm dealing with is in between the transmission and block. Will need to remove transmission. There are 2 sizes, .28mm and .54mm. Oh what fun
