MAPSEEKER
When in 1839 did the Grand Junction Railway open its station opposite Curzen Street. The Grand Junction Railway officially opened with trains arriving at Vauxhall, the tempory terminus in July 4th 1837. Therefore it must have taken a fair time to complete the one and a half miles from Vauxhall to Curzen Street. The London and Birmingham opened the Curzen Street Station on 24th june 1838. Would appreciate any information to gauge a more accurate date than just 1839. Information is for the latest book currently being written.
